Scribbling Away

I thought I’d upload a progress pic of that “painting” I said I’d be working on. =p She’s still pretty rough. I’ve literally repainted her 5 times…trying to get the colour of her dress right. That’s probably why I never really like to do fanart since you can’t really make it up as you go. lol

Also I’ve been trying to find that perfect brush that just works for me, but no luck thus far. I think the problem is more with the way I lay down those “brush strokes”. They just look so darn messy. ( I have to practice more!) I really love working with those “oil” brushes photoshop has, but it just doesn’t work with the look I want for this pic here.

I haven’t touched this for days now, since I want to try working on something fresh. I’ll gradually come back to it here and there. =D
